Digital Jewelry is now Colucci Custom Awards
Same family company. Same workshop in Columbia, South Carolina. Same people at the bench who have been making championship rings and awards since 1940. Only the name on the door is different.
What changed
- The trading name is Colucci Custom Awards.
- The website is coluccicustomawards.com. The old site is offline.
- The catalogue is wider. Rings, trophies, medals, coins, belts, plaques, pins and badges now sit beside the jewelry lines.
- Ring, medal and trophy designers are online, so a mockup takes minutes instead of a phone call.
What did not
- The company. Same owners, same family, no sale and no merger.
- The workshop at 160 Commercial Drive, Columbia, SC 29212.
- The phone number, (803) 760-7099.
- Your artwork, your past orders and your pricing. All still on file.
- Every jewelry line the old brand sold. All still made in house.
Why the name changed
The Colucci family began making awards in Columbia, South Carolina in 1940, and by 1955 was the Southeast’s go-to source for championship rings and trophies. The company traded as Digital Jewelry for years after that, through the move to 3D digital ring previews.
It stopped fitting. Most of what leaves this building is a championship ring, a trophy, a medal, a challenge coin, a belt or a plaque. Jewelry is part of the work, not the whole of it, and a coach looking for a ring supplier had no reason to click a company called Digital Jewelry. The name was describing a fraction of the business and hiding the rest.
Colucci Custom Awards says what the company actually does, and it puts the family name back on the work. Nothing about how the awards are made changed with it.

Everything the old brand made is still made, in the same workshop, by the same hands.

Questions about the change
Is Digital Jewelry still in business?
Yes. The business is the same one, operating under the name Colucci Custom Awards. Nothing was sold, closed or merged into another company. The name on the door changed; the company did not.
Why did the name change?
Because the old name described a fraction of the work. The company is an awards manufacturer that also makes jewelry, not a jewelry house, and roughly nine in ten orders are rings, trophies, medals, coins, belts and plaques. Customers searching for an awards manufacturer were not finding a company called Digital Jewelry.
What happened to digitaljewelry.com?
The old website is no longer online. This site, coluccicustomawards.com, replaces it, and it carries the full catalogue including every jewelry line the old site sold.
Do I need to set up a new account or re-order anything?
No. Existing customers, artwork on file, past orders and pricing all carry over. If you ordered before, call and reference the old name and it will be found.
Are the same people still making the awards?
Yes. Same workshop at 160 Commercial Drive, Columbia, SC 29212, same craftspeople, same equipment. The company has been making awards in Columbia, South Carolina since 1940.
Do you still make custom jewelry, or only awards?
Both. Family crest pieces, memorial and cremation jewelry, pendants, charms, monograms and custom chains are all still made in house. They sit alongside the awards catalogue rather than under a separate brand.
