Brand update
Digital Jewelry is now Colucci Custom Awards
Digital Jewelry was never a separate company. It was the custom jewelry brand of Colucci Custom Awards, and the two have now been brought together under one name. Same family, same workshop in Columbia, South Carolina, same rings.
Two names, one family business
The story starts in 1940, when Ivo Colucci came to America wanting to build a jewelry business. It became real in 1955, and it has stayed in the family ever since, run by descendants of Italian artisans who arrived through Ellis Island.
In 2000 the family launched Digital Jewelry as the custom jewelry arm of Colucci Custom Awards. For the next two decades the two names split the work between them: Colucci Custom Awards took the commemorative and awards side, trophies, plaques and recognition pieces, while Digital Jewelry took championship rings, pendants and personalised jewelry.
It worked, and then it stopped working. Customers met one company through two front doors, and had to know which door to use. Someone who bought rings from Digital Jewelry did not always know the same building made their trophies. Search made it worse: nobody looking for an awards manufacturer types “jewelry”.
So the two names became one. Colucci Custom Awards is the family name, it describes what the workshop actually does, and it now covers everything both brands ever made.
Where the old menu went
If you knew digitaljewelry.com, these were its four sections. Every one of them is still here.
The jewelry side, still made in house
This was Digital Jewelry’s half of the business. None of it was dropped in the move.
What carried over, and what is new

Questions from Digital Jewelry customers
Is Digital Jewelry the same company as Colucci Custom Awards?
Yes, and it always was. Digital Jewelry was the custom jewelry brand of Colucci Custom Awards, running since 2000. For years the two operated side by side: Colucci Custom Awards handled the commemorative and awards side, Digital Jewelry handled custom rings and jewelry. They have now been brought together under the one name.
So this is not a sale or a takeover?
No. Nothing was sold, closed or acquired. One company that had been trading under two names now trades under one. The owners, the workshop and the people are unchanged.
What happened to digitaljewelry.com?
It is no longer online. This site replaces it and carries the whole catalogue, including every ring and jewelry line the old site sold.
I ordered rings through Digital Jewelry. Is my artwork still on file?
Yes. Past orders, artwork, sizing records and pricing all carried across. Call and reference the old name and it will be found. Repeat team orders are the most common thing we do.
Do you still offer the two customization levels?
Yes. The Xpress option covers a custom logo, names and jersey numbers. The premium option goes to precious metals such as sterling silver and yellow gold with set stones. Same choice, same workshop, now presented as Xpress and Elite.
Is there still a team ordering portal?
Yes. For a team ring, belt or chain order we can set up a dedicated portal so every player picks and pays for their own size and options, instead of one coach collecting sizes and money by hand.
Are the rings still made in South Carolina?
Yes. Everything is still produced at the Columbia, South Carolina facility at 160 Commercial Drive, Columbia, SC 29212, with rush options available.
More on four generations of the family is on the about page, and the blog covers ring pricing, lead times and how a championship ring is actually made.
Ordered from Digital Jewelry before?
Then your file is already here. Tell us what the team needs this season and the same people who made the last set will pick it up.
