Custom Letterman & Championship Jackets

A letterman jacket is the most personal piece of athletic gear a student ever owns. It carries the school name on the back, the player's first name on the front, the chenille letter patch the athlete earned the right to wear, and pins or patches for every additional sport, leadership role, and academic honor. Players wear it for the next two to four years of high school, then keep it for life.

We manufacture varsity letterman jackets the traditional way — wool-melton body in school primary color, genuine leather sleeves in school secondary color, knit ribbing at the waist and cuffs, snap-front closure, and a satin lining inside. The chenille letter (the big block letter most schools call the varsity letter) is stitched on the left chest, with chenille year numerals stitched on the lower right. Each one is built to the student-athlete's measurements and personalized with their name, sports, and graduation year.

Championship jackets are the celebration version — built for a specific title, a specific roster, and a specific season. State football champions, conference basketball titlists, baseball regionals, hockey playoffs, college bowl game winners. The whole roster gets matching jackets at the championship banquet or trophy ceremony, with the title, the year, and the score on the back.

These are heavier, premium builds. The back patch is fully custom — original CAD artwork rendered in chenille and twill applique with multiple color layers, the championship game opponent and final score, the conference or state name, and the season record. The front carries the player's first name, the school crest, and a small sport-specific embroidered icon. Coaches' jackets get coach stripes on the sleeve. Captains get an extra captain's C on the chest.

Beyond schools and varsity sports, championship-style jackets work for corporate sales-club programs (President's Club, Chairman's Circle, Hall of Fame), milestone-anniversary recognition, military unit programs, and law-enforcement honors. The build is the same — wool body, leather sleeves, embroidered company logo on the chest, and a custom back patch with the program name and year. Companies use them as recognition awards that visibly mark the recipient as a top performer.

Corporate orders typically run smaller quantities (five to fifty jackets per recognition year) and lean into premium Elite-tier construction — heavier wool, top-grain leather, custom satin lining with the company brand inside, and Pantone-matched embroidery and trim. We work with HR teams, sales-operations groups, and event coordinators on the design and roll-out timing.

Every jacket is constructed in our Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility. We do not import finished blanks and embroider them — the wool-melton body is cut to measurement here, the leather sleeves are stitched on here, and every chenille patch is built and embroidered in-house. That control over manufacturing is what lets us hold the line on quality across a full varsity roster while still personalizing each individual jacket with the player's name, year, sport, and position.

Standard production runs three to four weeks for Xpress orders (proven letterman build with embroidered customization) and four to six weeks for Elite orders (premium materials, original CAD back patch, Pantone-matched trim).
