Quick Cost EstimatorName Badge Styles
- Plastic. The lightest and least expensive badge, in your choice of color. Rectangle sizes from 1" x 3" to 3.3" x 2.1".
- Plastic oval. The 1-1/2" x 3" badge with an oval outline.
- Framed plastic. A plastic badge set in a frame for a finished edge.
- Aluminum with a clear lens. A full-color aluminum badge under a clear protective cover.
- Solid brass or solid nickel. Gold-tone brass or silver-tone nickel, our metal name tag. See metal name tags.
- Photo ID badge. Full-color graphics with your logo or seal and a photo, one design, one side.
- Visitor badge. Full-color graphics with your logo or seal, one design, one side.

Sizes
- 1" x 3": the classic slim badge, a name and one short line.
- 1-1/4" x 3": a little more height for a logo and two lines.
- 1-1/2" x 3": room for a logo, a name and a title.
- 1-1/2" x 3" oval: the same size with an oval outline.
- 3.3" x 2.1": ID-card proportions, the most room for a logo and text.
The price is the same at every size within a style, so choose the size by how much you want on the badge.
Fasteners: Magnet, Pin or Clutch
Every badge can be ordered with a magnetic back, a pin back or a clutch back. A magnet leaves no holes in a shirt or a jacket and suits staff who wear the badge every day. A pin or clutch is the better choice on thick or layered clothing, where a magnet has less grip. Choose the fastener when you design the badge; it is confirmed on your proof.
Personalizing: Names, Titles and Your Logo
Each badge can carry your logo and up to three lines of text, usually a name and a title. Personalizing is optional and priced per line, per badge: $2.00 a line on metal and aluminum styles, $1.00 a line on plastic, oval and framed styles. Photo ID and visitor badges are one full-color design with no per-line charge.
