Transferring ashes into your cremation pendant is a simple, respectful process you can complete privately at home:

  1. Prepare your workspace. Lay a soft white towel on a flat surface. Gather the jewelry, the transfer kit we provide, and the cremation ashes.
  2. Open the compartment. Carefully unscrew the precision-threaded closure and set the screw aside in a safe place on the towel.
  3. Transfer the ashes. Insert the miniature funnel into the opening and gently guide a very small amount of ashes through it. Most pieces require only about one-eighth of a teaspoon.
  4. Seal permanently. Clear any residue from the threads with the included pin tool. Apply a small drop of the provided jewelry-grade bonding adhesive to the threads, then screw the closure back into place firmly. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before wearing.
